House Climate Change Bill Passes by Slim Margin
Obama’s administration and Democratic leaders in the House worked feverishly in the hours before the vote to cement enough support for passage.
There were defections on both sides: 44 Democrats voted against the bill and eight Republicans supported it.
Now the measure:h.r.02454: goes to the Senate, where it is expected to be extensively modified.
Opponents, however, argue that the bill would place a new tax on energy that would stunt economic growth, raise gas and electricity costs and do little to affect climate change.
During floor debate, Republican Rep. Tom Price of Georgia even asked for a moment of silence for all the jobs he said would be vanishing. He didn’t get it.
By any marker, Friday made for a surprising achievement. Weeks ago, it appeared the legislation would fall victim to disagreements between environmentalists and industry, between lawmakers from rural and urban areas, and between moderate and progressive Democrats.
(Federaljack.com) In an effort to censor any online text that might inform consumers of the ability of natural products to protect consumers from H1N1 influenza A, the FDA is now sending out a round of warning letters, threatening to “take enforcement action… such as seizure or injunction for violations of the FFDC Act without further notice.”
“Firms that fail to take correction action,” the FDA warns, “may also be referred to the FDA’s Office of Criminal Investigations for possible criminal prosecution for violations of the FFDC Act and other federal laws.”
The message is crystal clear: No product may be described as protecting against or preventing H1N1 infections unless it is approved by the FDA. And which products has the FDA approved? Tamiflu (the anti-viral drug that most people will never have access to), and soon the new H1N1 vaccine that’s being manufactured at a cost of one billion dollars (paid to Big Pharma by the taxpayers). This vaccine, of course, will be utterly useless because H1N1 will undoubtedly mutate between now and the time the vaccine is ready, rendering the vaccine useless.
In other words, according to the tyrants at the FDA, the only products that may be marketed alongside the term “H1N1″ are those products that either don’t work or aren’t available to most people. Anything that really works to prevent influenza infections — such as natural anti-virals, medicinal herbs, etc. — is banned from even mentioning H1N1 without the threat of being criminally prosecuted.

Originally this post was going to be centered around the “Cyber Terrorism” hype that is going on around the world these days and somehow the Rockerfellers popped into this post. It’s kind of hard to report on anything these days without the name being involved.

It all started when I was watching CNN today and I hear the mention of the growing problem of Cyber Terror and how it’s so out of control that today Washington is meeting to discuss someone who would be appointed as the “Cyber Czar” to combat this growing problem. Together with the Department of Homeland Security, they would rid the world of this horrible problem that is threatening our “National Security”. I cringed a bit and wondered if Eric Holder, Obama’s choice for Attorney General would be the appointed czar.

The Rockefellar Family Part I

Also, the Protecting Children from Indecent Programming Act (Reported in Senate) – John Mccain jumped in on this one as well. Again, the same bait and switch, the promise of “Protection” and more regulation in exchange for more of our freedoms.

More Censorship set up to create more big government and big brother in our lives. No wonder since this department is associated with the Department of Homeland Security. Ammunition Identification and Afghanistan after “Democracy”
Another victory for big brother, in about 19 states they are passing bills to require ammunition makers to track all ammunition sold through a type of bar coding system / laser technology that corresponds to your license number starting next year. More tracking and more government in our lives. They are also proposing a tax on the ammunition, the arizona bill would propose half a cent more per bullet.
In an attempt for the government to try to keep us “safe and secure”, they are now passing this piece of work while at the same time stripping us of our privacy even more. Just like they’ve been keeping us safe from all those “terrorists”. You gotta hand it to them, they sure know how to pull the “lets scare you then protect you act”, it’s lucrative why would they stop a good thing?
